Sandlin Gaither is an Asheville-based photographer whose work has explored the people and quiet landscapes of the American South for more than two decades. From commissioned portraiture of musicians and celebrities to fine art photography, Sandlin's images and essays reflect an enduring curiosity about the region, from the mountains of Appalachia to the coastlines of North Carolina, South Carolina, and Georgia.
